A beautiful Boston sunrise

I enjoy watching the sunrise each day. Every day before I begin my work day, I like to head to the 10th floor to catch the sunrise.

Each sunrise gives me hope! Watching the sun rise is so peaceful, calming and beautiful!!

What I have observed from the year of doing this, is that, I have not seen any two sunrises that have been the same. This gives me hope that each day is unique in itself. No two days are exactly the same.

One thing that really struck me this morning is that a cloudy day was predicted. Cloudy days are not really glorified. Many will complain and ask where is the sun? Many of us live for sunny days filled with blue skies and not many clouds.

But this morning as I watched the sunrise and saw the many clouds , I also observed how beautiful the sky was. It was lit up with colours of hot pink and orange and the colours were more amplified. The picture below really did not capture the full beauty of this morning’s sunrise.

I was in awe and that was when Holy Spirit whispered to me, that there is beauty in each day, even on cloudy days. Cloudy days could be identified as days when things, situations and condition and not perfect and going as we planned or imagined.

But loving Father God reminds us and gives us such hope in a sunrise, that there is beauty in every single day.

In fact according to this sunrise, God’s beauty and glory and goodness is on display most on the cloudiest of days!

I just want to encourage someone today, to embrace, look for and see the beauty in every day, no matter what!
